We are all very proud of our record at Local 84807. We are a union that has always encouraged members to get involved: attend meetings, join committees, vote on contracts, participate in workplace actions, and speak out on workplace issues.

A union is its members. The more members participate, the stronger we will be and the more we will be able to accomplish in bargaining, and implement improvements in our workplace. Do not hesitate to contact your steward if you have a question or concern. Please remember that all executive board members and all stewards are volunteer (unpaid) union representatives and are doing the best that they possibly can.

The monthly union meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month. Members must login to see exact dates, times and locations of meetings. Please come and bring a fellow member!

Scott Atwood is moving on to a new chapter of his life, he came to TMSi in 2001, and now after nines years he is moving on... he will be missed, So if you happen to see Scott Atwood, wish him luck!

There will be a card circulating for all who wants to sign it. if you don.t see it and you want to sign, contact one of the executive board members.

United Way will be coming to inform members of the many services that are available to the community, services such as free tax preparations,assistance with utility bills,etc.

Anyone interested in sending donations to The Haiti Disaster will have to go through The American Red Cross, they are only taking monetary donations. Should you have any ideas on how we can help, please contact one of the executive board members.

The Contract Books are now in the unions hands. They will be handed out Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010. The time will be posted on the bulletin board in the break room.

For the entire month of February,we will be looking for adult men coats, pants, shoes; all other items of clothing will be accepted. Please remember to clean, fold, bag and tag.
